I co-founded the Digital department at Spafax in the UK, launching a new entertainment product suite combining customer products and internal systems that together act as a catalyst for the agency’s digital transformation. My role is primarily creative direction and strategy, as well as creative development, overseeing UX/UI, developing sales and marketing materials, and pitching digital products and services to clients.

Profile.

Profile brings streaming entertainment to every step of the travel experience, enabling airline passengers to start planning and streaming content from home, and to continue watching in the airport and onboard. Profile has been a huge success, launching with 10 airline clients internationally, and growing to include voice skills for Alexa and much more. Clients include: American Airlines, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, LATAM, British Airways, SAS, Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, Eurowings.

 

IQ.

IQ was the first analytics platform that centralised all viewing statistics from all inflight entertainment systems, merging that data with class, cabin, route and demographics, to enable sophisticated analysis of cost-per-view, discovery effort, and more across a variety of different front-end experiences. IQ includes a behavioural analytics data platform and dashboard, along with a bespoke data science insights service that can deliver predictive scoring against any planned content strategy for inflight entertainment. IQ customers can use this insight to optimise content spend, strategy, understand platform efficiency, inflight UX and more. IQ has been rolled out to multiple airlines, including Air Canada and British Airways.

 

Sprint.

Sprint is a real-time content automation and distribution platform for Hollywood New Release movies, TV, audio and more - enabling dynamic scheduling and optimisation of content libraries on every aircraft, on the fly. The product breaks the monthly content cycle that traditionally ruled inflight entertainment, where content was loaded once per month.

 

Genie.

Genie is a new system-agnostic Recommendation Engine that surfaces relevant content choices in your entertainment GUI, using collaborative filtering, content filtering and machine learning - against user data sets, journey stage data and content metadata. The API can be plugged into multiple inflight entertainment systems, turning static carousels into personalised experiences.
